My younger self reading a campus novel (any campus novel): "This is frickin' hilarious. There is no way people could actually be this dumb."

Is the drag show artist the unofficial mascot of anything trans? Be it a school, a church, a library, a museum---be it whatever---when they say gender diversity they actually just mean one thing: drag. It seems to me not just an insult to women but an insult to the more sober, reality-based trans-identified person.

None of them read anything, they scrape a thin paring of social historical and political knowledge off the top 2 micrometers of recently accumulated pop culture

What's ironic is that they have enough good sense not to indulge in an offensive stereotype of an indigenous person but then they bring on the drag show artist as a representative of 2SLGBTQIA+. How they reveal themselves.

Probably because they don't want to get sick

Face diapers don't stop airborne viruses.

Are you talking about the virulent trans virus? I hear it’s quite catching!

When someone sneezes next to you, do you prefer they cover up their mouth or keep their mouth uncovered?

It makes no difference! The small droplets aren't blocked! Hypochondria will kill you before any virus does!

I find it hard to believe that you're completely comfortable with someone sneezing on you.

I also don't know why you're now talking about death. I'm just talking about getting sick. Even if you can't stop small droplets, it seems useful to stop the large ones. But that's just common sense, I'm not an epidemiologist, nor do I particularly care.

The point is your hypochondria about getting sick does not make you less sick, only more anxious.

Evidence-based thinking.

I think you should have to note that as a footnote to anything you post on social media.

Like this:

"P.S. I don't believe viruses exist."

Oh boy. Well someday there will be a reckoning, of that I feel sure. People don’t forget. I often think of how Penn State admin covered up for Jerry Sandusky and how terrible they all looked when it blew up anyway.
