When the going gets tough, the TRAs get UwU. Until now.
Trans activists wanted sad children associated with their cause in the public mind. They have got what they asked for, now and forever.
I’ve been seeing, and hearing from, many feminists disappointed that the Cass review seems to repeat so many trans activist shibboleths. Calling girls “birth-registered” girls, for example: as if the registration determined their sex rather than biology having done so. I don’t think this matters for the impact the report is having and will continue to have.
This is because the Cass report has struck right into trans activism’s strongest redoubt: childhood. When people wonder if it is fair, actually, to have Stephanie Barrett take a place on the Canadian women’s Olympic archery team; or safe, actually, to house serial pedophile Madilyn Harks in women’s prisons with mother and child programs; or sensible, actually, to allow Melody Wiseheart to swim against, and change in the same locker room as, 13 year old girls; or sane to, well, just read this
… trans activists retreat on to the terrain of the trans child. You don’t want to hurt *children* do you, you beast, with your mean questions? You don’t want them to commit suicide, do you? What kind of monster are you anyway?
Here’s the image Canada Research Chair for the Public Understanding of Sexual & Gender Minority Youth, Dr. Kristopher Wells, posted at the end of a long day criticizing the Cass report on Twitter:
Wells has grown accustomed to this kind of imagery stopping all debate. Look at this kid whom you are MAKING SAD with your independent reviews of gender identity services for children and young people! The kid is not even holding the Barbie doll anymore! Even the squishy toy is drooping with despair! Shut up already or we’ll shoot this dog!
It doesn’t work anymore. The Cass report, even more than the WPATH files, clarifies what a horrorshow trans activism has visited on children. It’s not cute, and no amount of faux-naive cartoon art can make it cute. Childhood is not a “safe space” for manipulative, deceitful trans activist adults anymore. In light of the Cass report, the world is beginning to apprehend that the relationship of trans activism to children has been sickeningly abusive. When Wells posts an image of a sad child, his intent is to protect no one so much as himself. Well, mission accomplished, Wells: the sadness of children will indeed be associated with you and your fellow trans activists, forever.

Thanks Joey!!!!!!
It doesn't take much mental effort to stand back and take a look at what's going on. There is no way, aside from the "something in the water" conspiracy theory or some such ridiculous notion as that, that upwards of 10 percent of young adults and children, mostly girls, think they are born in the wrong body. After watching "Affirmation Generation" (which was heartbreaking to try and get through) it seems criminal that mental health issues have been dismissed in favour of the cure-all of "gender affirmation" and all of the medical issues that that entails. These doctors and psychologists and psychiatrists have condemned these young people to be a medical experiment for the rest of their lives. And shame on the parents who go along with this.
