Very thorough, very comprehensive. Good for you for holding U of A's feet to the fire. Though this is somewhat "problematic":
"By 2021, it was public knowledge that Mr. Labelle was a producer of fetish drawings".
The link under "public knowledge" takes me to a site that gives me a "dangerous" warning from my browser. But nice touch on the "Mr." -- calling a spade an effen shovel.
But like this also:
"... [Smith] plans to restrict puberty blockers, cross-sex hormone treatment, and sex trait modification surgery for children under 15 in Alberta. "
Nice that you're using "sex trait modification surgery" instead of the odious euphemism "gender-affirmation surgery", or the even more odious and quite unscientific "sex change surgery".
Though I might suggest a more accurate term would be "sterilization and castration". How far we've fallen if we're now sacrificing our children on the altar of the quite false god of gender identity.
In my experience it depends on which browser you use whether the 'danger danger' stuff gets set off when you try to look at Women Are Human. I wanted to have a link to contemporaneous documentation.
Here's Reduxx with updated info about Labelle's further adventures:
Thanks for the Redux info. And for the subscription. 🙂
I remember reading your RLS article some 15 months ago on the depredations of transactivists in the anthropology sector -- had run across the incident several times since then but had forgotten you were front and center:
Related thereto, you may not have yet run across Cell magazine's recent article asking "Is ‘sex’ a useful category?” Rather "surprising" for a biology journal. Of maybe some interest, my open letter that I'd sent to them, Jerry Coyne, and Colin Wright:
En passant, both my Android and Windows 10 tower computers give me pretty much the same "danger, danger" message.
Also of maybe some interest, I'm a Canuck also -- off in the wilds of BC, god's country 🙂. More particularly, I'm trying to rally some troops over the depredations of transactivists, particularly at Statistics Canada. Hard to believe that they're endorsing a system of personality types that's little better than phrenology and astrology:
"Statistics Departments Corrupted by Gender Ideology"
did you see this? Maybe you were involved in the effort to bring her, shamefully quashed by trans activists. but *somebody* in Stats Can is aware they have a problem, given that the outstanding Alice Sullivan was (briefly) invited at all:
Whoops. She was invited to speak at the Department of Justice, not StatsCan (and then disinvited), but she's published a lot about statistics and the importance of collecting them accurately.
Thanks. I'd run across the "deplatforming" story with Sullivan before though probably hadn't read that particular NP article. And I'd probably forgotten that it was she who had been given the hook by the wokesters and ideologues there at the DoJ.
But quite agree with your follow-up about accurate statistics -- she's front and center in my post on Statistics Departments. Probably what contributed to me writing it. ICYMI, Barbara Kay at NP has also written on it, as well as the WPATH files:
"Ethical rot" is a major understatement. Largely why I've written to various Conservative Shadow ministers as well as to Poilievre on the problem -- "crickets" so far, though they, no doubt, have other irons in the fire. Have to go to "Plan B" 🙂
Partly why I've tried to prevail on Kay to pick up the thread a bit -- we've exchanged a few emails over the years, and she's been supportive of my various posts, including, not surprisingly, my criticisms of Islam 🙂:

I gather education is generally a provincial matter, but what the Feds are doing by endorsing gender ideology may have some relevance there.
